Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • For Assembling: 2 cup whole moong sprouts


  • 1/4 cup grated carrot


  • 1/4 cup crumbled paneer (homemade)


  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney (homemade)


  • 1 chopped tomato


  • 1 tsp coarsed black pepper


  • 1/2 tsp Oregano


  • 1 tsp Chaat masala


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • For Tadka : 1 tbsp mustard oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/8 tsp asafoetodia


  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger


  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilly


  • For Garnishing : 1 tbsp fresh Pomegranate seeds


  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 1/4 cup namkeen bhujia


  • 4 pieces Papadi (homemade)

Directions

  • FOR STEAMING ::
  • Add a glass of water to the pressure cooker and heat it on high flame., place stand in it and put sprouts in a vessel without adding water.
  • Close the cooker's lid and turn off the gas when two whistles came. Keep aside for cooling.
  • When pressure cooker's pressure release, open the lid. Take out the sprouts in sieve and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • FOR TADKA :: Take tadka pan . Heat mustard oil on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and asafoetodia on low flame. Saute few seconds when it cracked add ginger and green chilly. Saute for 30 seconds. Turn off the gas.
  • Now put steamed sprouts in a bowl. Pour tadka in it and cover with a plate. Keep aside for 2 minutes.
  • Now combined all assembling ingredients (as per taste or your required quantity) except garnishing ingredients. Mix well
  • Healthy delicious & nutritious " STEAMED SPROUTS CHAAT " is ready to serve.
  • FOR GARNISHING :: Pour sprouts Chaat into serving Clay Pot " KULHAD " and garnish with Pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves, namkeen bhujia and Papadi.
